Our Story
How it Started...
Our Orchard, Sunny Slope, began in 1928
In 1997, in an effort to diversify and help cushion the increasing challenges in growing Tree Fruit, we planted our first Vineyard, and with the focus of quality, began growing Grapes for other wineries.
After many years of receiving compliments about our “new” crop, in 2019, we decided to move forward with obtaining a Winery License to progress that aspect of our Farm, using the fruit we grow in producing wines and naming our winery Frightened Turtle.
